Cookie policy

The short answer

This site sets no cookies. We have no traffic measurement tool, no advertising networks and no tracking pixels, so we have no consent banner either. One single technical entry stays in your browser, and only if you have used the chat.

Cookies and browser storage

A cookie is a small file a site leaves in your browser, and the browser returns it with every following request. Browser storage works in a similar way, but it is not sent to the server by itself. The law treats them alike, because both are an entry on your equipment.

What this site stores

This is technical storage necessary for a service you asked for yourself. Such storage needs no consent, as set out in Article 43(4) of the Croatian Electronic Communications Act.

The system the site runs on sets cookies only for logged in editors. A visitor has nowhere to log in, so those cookies never appear on your side.

We do not remember your language choice

Croatian pages sit on addresses without a prefix, English ones under /en/. You pick the language with the link in the header, and nothing about it is stored in your browser.

What is not here

There is no Google Analytics and no other traffic measurement tool. There are no advertising pixels from Facebook, LinkedIn or Google. There are no embedded videos, maps or social media posts. None of them leaves an entry in your browser, because none of them exists on the site.

Fonts are loaded from Google's servers

The site uses the Bricolage Grotesque, IBM Plex Mono and Inter typefaces and loads them from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Your browser therefore opens a connection to Google. Google then sees your IP address, the time of the request, the font requested and details about your browser and operating system. An IP address is personal data, so we say this here plainly, even though the fonts are not used for tracking.

If you would rather avoid it, you can block font loading in your browser settings or with an extension. The site will work exactly the same, the letters will simply look different.

Server logs are not cookies

Every visit is recorded by the server of our hosting provider. That record does not stay in your browser, it stays with the provider. What it holds and how long it lasts is set out in the privacy policy.

How to clear what is stored

Clear site data in your browser settings, or simply close the tab, which removes the chat entry anyway. The site will keep working in full.

Changes to this policy

We change this policy when what the site stores changes. The date of the last change is on the left. This version applies from 5 August 2026.
